Four little piggies went to Rundle Mall more than two decades ago and none came home.
The much-loved bronze pigs – Horatio, Oliver, Truffles and Augusta – will on Friday celebrate 21 years since being first unveiled in Adelaide’s premier shopping precinct.
Rundle Mall Management Authority will mark the occasion with a “coming-of-age” celebration party featuring SA brands such as Balfours, Robern Menz, Charlesworth Nuts, Melba’s Chocolates, Kytons Bakery, Haigh’s and Jonny’s Popcorn.
Rundle Mall general manager Johanna Williams said the pigs held a special place in the hearts of locals and tourists.
“Virtually every South Australian child born in the past 21 years would have sat atop Horatio or Truffles for a photo, as has anyone visiting from overseas or interstate,” Ms Williams said.

Celebrations start at noon.
