A cafe that goes the extra mile for their customers hasn’t gone unnoticed after taking out the best brunch title in Adelaide’s CBD.
Crack Kitchen has become a popular spot for local brunch fans and received 33 per cent of customer votes in our latest Delicious local poll.
Manager of the Franklin Street cafe, Brad Bruni, said he switched back to working there from his office job because he loved interacting with customers.
“There’s something about working here – we have so much fun and we really love to engage,” he said.
“Because I know how I feel when I go out somewhere, I want people to put that extra effort in.”
Mr Bruni has been working at Crack Kitchen since 2017 and recently took over as the front of house manager last year.
“We take pride in just doing the extra bit and trying not to rush anyone,” he said.
“We’re really proud of what we do.”
Mr Bruni said he loves the family feel of working at Crack Kitchen who have built up a loyal customer base over the years.
“We’ve all been a team for a long time – we don’t have much staff turnover, so it’s really nice to build a team and be really strong together,” he said.
Mr Bruni said a classic smashed avocado has been the go-to brunch favourite for customers but they seasonally change their menu for variation.
