Apartment block first proposed by bankrupt Bruno Marveggio to get green light
A nine-storey apartment block first proposed by bankrupt businessman Bruno Marveggio will get the green light under a new developer.
A nine-storey apartment block earmarked for South Tce will be approved on Thursday.
A report to the State Commission Assessment Panel recommends the $13.85 million development, first proposed by bankrupt Adelaide businessman and former Adelaide United shareholder Bruno Marveggio, be given the green light.
Planning documents list Lustro, which Mr Marveggio used to own, as the applicant and project proponent.
However, a spokesman from Intro Architecture, which is working on the development, said Lustro was no longer involved but he did not know who had taken it over.
“Having them on the application is just an error on our behalf,” the spokesman said.
The panel has been contacted for further clarification on the development.

Under the plan, the building would have 20 two-bedroom apartments, two three-bedroom penthouses, 26 car spaces and 24 bike parks.
Lustro was also behind a $110 million hotel in Glenelg North, which Marveggio sold to a Chinese businessman to clear debts.
Marveggio declared himself bankrupt in May after creditors of a failed building company rejected a last-ditch repayment proposal.
