Reginald Spooner found ‘safe and well’ after three day search

SAPOL have reported that a Springton man has been located after an extensive three day search which saw dozens of crews scour an area near Williamstown.
At 1:56pm Wednesday police released a statement saying that Reginald Spooner had been located safe and well.
It follows a gruelling three day search from authorities who first reported his disappearance on Sunday 23 May and that police and family had concerns for his welfare.
EARLIER: Reginald Spooner, 38, was last seen at his Springton home about 3pm on Sunday 23 May, police and family have concerns for his welfare.
At about 1.15pm Monday SES and CFS crews were called to the South Para reservoir with about 20 SES members on the scene by 3:30, as well as police.
Mr Spooner is 190cm tall, medium build with short dark brown hair and a dark beard.
Anyone who spots Reginald Spooner are asked to phone the Police Assistance Line immediately on 131 444.
A spokesperson for the State Emergency Service said there are currently 20 SES personnel on site.
“We’ve made arrangements for search dogs to be used if this search continues till tomorrow morning, as well as backup crews to take over,” they said on Monday.
Reginald Spooner was last seen at his nearby Springton home about 3pm on Sunday.
