Angaston and Districts Hospital celebrated a major milestone, as it notched up its 100th anniversary.
The Angaston History Centre has put together a display as a part of the celebrations, where it showcases a contrast between the old and new hospital equipment, past nurse’s uniforms and old photos of the hospital throughout the years.
Angaston Hospital Director of Nursing and Midwifery Trudi Morrissey was delighted to reach the milestone.
“We are pleased to reach this significant milestone and celebrate this special occasion with our patients, staff and the community,” she said.
“The historic display is an exciting opportunity for staff and members of the community to come together and be part of an event that celebrates the hard work and dedication of Angaston Hospital throughout the years.
“We greatly appreciate the continued support from the Barossa Health Advisory Council and the ongoing commitment and dedication from our staff in providing high quality care to patients in our community.
“We encourage everyone to visit the Angaston History Centre and see the 100 year history of Angaston Hospital for themselves during the month of October and November.”
The display is open all October and November on Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4pm and Wednesday’s from 10am to 2pm.
