The region’s prestigious real estate market is on the move with the Adelaide Hills recording a 300 per cent upswing in multimillion-dollar sales.
According to CoreLogic data, 12 residential homes have settled for $2 million plus this year – compared with just three recorded during the same period in 2019.
Historic mansions and architecturally designed homes appear to be the main drawcard for buyers with deep pockets, who secured one of the region’s top 10 sales this year.

14 WILLIAMS ROAD, HEATHFIELD
Sale price: $3.9 million
A cashed-up international buyer has splashed almost $4 million on an Adelaide Hills mansion renowned for its contemporary curved design.
They outbid four other prospective buyers to snap up the jaw-dropping Heathfield property at 14 Williams Road, which sold at auction for $3.9 million in early December.
The impressive five-bedroom home, which is on a 2.62 sqm block, was featured in South Australia’s Top 50 Homes and was the state’s second most popular property on realestate.com in 2020.
