Drivers seriously injured after two-car crash at North East Rd
A man and a woman, both from Adelaide’s northern suburbs, have been seriously injured after a two-car crash in the Hills.

A man and elderly woman are in a serious condition after a two-car crash at Houghton in the Adelaide Hills.
Emergency services were called to North East Rd just after 10am on Thursday after reports two cars had collided head-on.
A 28-year-old male driver from Salisbury East suffered serious injuries and was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
A 75-year-old Golden Grove woman was also taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.
City-bound traffic on North East Rd was blocked off while Major Crash investigators examined the scene.
The crash comes after three separate crashes on Christmas Day, killing a pedestrian and a truck driver and leaving a motorcyclist with serious injuries.
There have been 99 lives lost on SA roads in 2021 compared with 93 this time last year.
