Social media sensations Michael and Danny Philippou, better known as the RackaRacka twins, have officially landed back in Adelaide after they were spotted on a film set for their latest scary movie.

The brothers were spotted on location along with a large production crew as they kicked off work to film Bring Her Back. The film is a joint collaboration with South Australian Film Corporation chief executive Kate Croser and Arts Minister Andrea Michaels.

“We feel so at home here. It’s where we feel most comfortable and inspired, and we want to be making movies here for a long time,” the Philippous told The Advertiser.

Michael and Danny first made a splash on YouTube as RackaRacka, with their online pranks – which included driving a car filled with water through a bottle shop – attracting more than a billion views.

The brothers, who made their name on YouTube, previously confirmed they are making a sequel for Talk To Me – their feature-film debut which took home eight prizes at last year’s AACTA Awards, including Best Film, Best Direction, Screenplay, Sound, Editing, Lead Actress, Score and Makeup.

The horror film grossed more than $140m globally.

The brothers have also signed on to direct the big screen adaptation of popular video-game ‘Street Fighter’, though it’s still unclear when production will begin.
