When a Brazilian model and former Victoria’s Secret ‘angel’ marries in the Maldives, skin is the thing

ON A balmy Maldives day, Brazilian supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret angel, Isabeli Fontana got hitched to NX Zero front man Diego Ferrero.

The pair made their union legal by the sea with the banging body of the former Vic’s Secret angel impressing all who happened to somewhere near them on an island in the magnificent Maldives.

The dress, from by Brazilian designer Agua de Coco (loose translation is ‘coconut water). cemented the omnipresent trend that clothes are often taking a back seat to the event or matters at hand.

As 33-year-old Isabeli has walked in the designer’s show on numerous occasions in the past it was a no-brainer for uber model as the incredibly sheer mesh coconut water dress was embroidered with zillions of crystals and worn over a bandeau cream bikini and high-waisted bottom.

Even the cake was a sexy looking thing, featuring a custom ‘topper’ by Brazilian ‘cake topper to the stars’, Ateliê Nanda Biscuits. if you look really, really closely you can see weeny coconuts at the bride’s and groom’s feet; with straws. Just in case they needed a little coconut water pick-me-up as the beachside ceremony went on and on.

The exquisite bride — OK, OK, she’s a model for godsake — opted for the messy bun vibe with white orchids while she carried a bouquet of white lilies.

Pearls and diamonds were the gems of choice: pearls wrapped around the flowers and dazzling diamonds on her tanned ears.

While Isabeli was one of nine bridesmaids at the recent wedding of Ana Beatriz, this newlywed sent down the simple, elegant and bridesmaids-less path. No-one was ever down to upstage this wedding gown.
