The Wiggles respond to 'accidental' Bluey cameo in season three episode Phones

The iconic band makes a brief appearance in the show, but you might not recognise them for one little reason.

In a blink-and-you'll-miss it-moment, The Wiggles have made a brief cameo in Bluey and fans are going crazy for the iconic crossover.

A fan pointed out the detail in the Bluey Mums Facebook page, saying they noticed the scene in season three in an episode called 'Phones'.

The hidden Wiggles cameo in Bluey Phones episode

The woman, Lily, wrote: "So I don’t know if anyone else noticed but in season three, the episode Phones with granddad you can see a picture of their version of The Wiggles!

"So cool! Hidden details."

They then shared a screengrab of the scene, where Bluey is pointing to a framed photo of The Wiggles.

But it's not The Wiggles as you know them - all the cast members have been dog-ified so they look like they're part of Bluey's world!

The line-up shows Lachy (purple), Tsehay (yellow), Simon (red) and Anthony (blue) and their signatures above each of them.

While we don't have an official comment from The Wiggles, we have official word that they did love the fact that fans spotted them in the iconic ABC animation. Or at least some 'version' of them.

"The Waggles are so cuteeeee"

Fellow fans were quick to share her excitement about the subtle cameo, jumping to the comments section to add their thoughts.

"Made me laugh so much the first time, especially 'cos Jeff Bush, the guy who does the music is really good friends with Emma Wiggle," noted one.

"Yes, I did notice - very cool," another wrote.

"So when I saw this episode that jumped out to me right away and I had to rewind to make sure it’s what I thought I saw," replied someone else.

And then one person jokingly dubbed the canine band 'The Waggles'.

"Oh, I've never noticed this but I was certain I've seen The Wiggles in the credits at some point," one woman commented.

Others also pointed out that it's not the first time these two Aussie exports have collaborated.

"I know Anthony was a voice in one of the episodes," one said, with another adding, "Remember when Emma and Bingo made that dancing video?"

Clearly fans are obsessed with this cheeky Wiggles inclusion - so we'll have to keep an eye out to see if the Bluey team take note and slip them into future episodes!
