The Maccas McFlurry hashbrown woman, also known by her real name, Kelly Arvan, is back with another weird food combination that could either make you really queasy or really curious.

After breaking the internet with her ice cream sandwich hack last week, Arvan is now doubling down on her love for a salty and sweet moment and experimenting with other similar concoctions.

Enter: The banana bread cheese toastie, aka exactly what it sounds like.

It's a slice of banana bread wedged between an already complete cheese toastie. Just open it up, whack it in and you'll hit the cravings jackpot, apparently.

The combo for when you're craving something salty and sweet

"The internet has decided that I'm pregnant," Arvan begins the clip, referencing her previous video where she admitted that "the cravings" can hit you at any time.

As she's saying this, she's disassembling a toastie and putting a slice of pre-bought banana bread inside of it.

She then takes a bite and says, "Now there's something going on here.! There's sweet... and the cheesiness... mmmm."

Arvan looks initially confused by her own creation but after a few more bites she declares that it's "really really yummy."

"I was a bit sceptical but I thought it had potential, but it's good, I would get it again," she concludes.

'Why did I never think of this?'

Arvan's video has now been flooded with more than 200 comments, with many praising her for her creativity.

"Why did I never think of this?" someone said.

Another wrote: "Mmmm yes another creation I need to try."

Then this person wrote, "I love your tastebuds."

But not everyone was sold on the idea, with one person telling her to "quit while she's ahead."

"Sorry, but there's no way in hell that tastes good," another chimed in.

The viral Hasbrown McFlurry sandwich

It comes after the TikToker recently sent the internet into a frenzy for putting an Oreo McFlurry in between two hashbrowns. The 'ice cream sandwich' is apparently an "irresistible" combination because it's "salty, crunchy, potatoey and sweet."

Since sharing the clip last week it now has a staggering five million views and hundreds of fans rushed to Maccas to try one for themselves.

On Friday, Kyle Sandilands even tried the off-menu item. "I do love the hashbrown and I love the McFlurry, so how bad could it be?' he said in his video while holding the ice cream sandwich.

"I dig it," he concludes after taking a bite. "It reminds me of when I was in my twenties."

Other willing foodies also gave it a go too and suddenly hundreds of videos emerged with everyone putting their own spin on it.

One creator, Joie Tan even dipped hers into garlic chilli sauce which she said was a "game changer." "Don't knock it till you try it," she said.

Influencer Bec Hardgrave even drove to three different McDonald's to find one "that had both hashbrowns and McFlurry's available," suggesting that the trend is causing the items to sell out.

"This girl is a genius. Do you remember when you were a kid and you used to dip your kids into soft-serve, this is like that but 10x better," she said after taking a bite.

"The one thing I would change is I would just use the hashbrown as a spoon to eat the ice cream so it doesn't get so messy," she added, addressing many people's concerns that the hot hashbrown melts the ice cream in the sandwich.
