A bride has asked for a refund from a wedding photographer after she discovered her husband had slept with her after meeting on their big day.

Taking to the r/WeddingPhotography subreddit, the owner of a wedding photography company explained what went down.

User @Wedding_dude revealed that he had hired a contractor photographer, a 20-something woman, to work with him to shoot a wedding, after his typical second shooter couldn't make it.

He said everything was "business as usual" and the photos were "edited and delivered to the client" in the typical manner.

"She even included photos to prove it"

However the morning after he sent the photos, he received a surprising text from the bride.

"She was wanting a refund because the lady I had hired as a second shooter for the day ended up sleeping with her husband at some point after the wedding," he wrote.

She even "included photos from her husband's phone to prove it."

He's torn about giving her a refund as "she hired me for a job and the job was delivered."

However, naturally, he still feels bad about the situation and even compared it to "if I were a professional dog walker who walked a client's dog, then came back and shot it later. "

He concluded his post by saying, "I really feel for this lady, but that's also a lot of money to have to give back for work that was done."

"You don't offer infidelity clauses"

Reddit users were quick to share their thoughts in the comments, but not before they expressed their overall shock at the debacle.

One user even said, "This is the best post of the year in this sub. Congrats. You win."

Someone else suggested, "Give her a discount on her next wedding."

And this person joked, "Lol, she should pay you more for the contractor. Unmasking her new husband and saving her from a lifetime of cheating."

And a fourth bluntly wrote: "This sounds harsh, but her husband was going to cheat on her regardless of who your second shooter was. It’s not your fault that she married him."

"Tell her to eff all the way off. You run a business and don't offer infidelity clauses in the contract. Work done, work delivered, obligations met," concluded another.
