The 'type A' solution to common wedding problem

Aussie woman Callie Cox took to TikTok to share her "type A" solution to this common problem — a "bridesmaid survey" — which she created on Google Forms and emailed to her supporting ladies.

"POV, you're a Type A bride that makes a 20-question bridesmaid survey so you don't have to bug them for the next six months," she wrote in the clip, over footage of her sitting on her couch with her laptop.

So, what's in the bridesmaid survey?

In a follow-up clip, Callie details everything "we asked our bridesmaids to make our lives easier."

Questions in the "basics baby" category included the bridesmaids' names, shirt sizes, favourite non-alcoholic beverages, coffee orders, and favourite snacks.

She then asked what jobs people would be happy to volunteer for ahead and on the big day.

Tasks included taking candid photos, helping decorate and set up events, cooking, DIY, bachelorette party planning, speech, bridal shower help and playlist maker.

She also allowed her bridesmaids to select an option that said "bridesmaiding is enough, babes" and another one that read: "happy to help wherever/whenever."

Bridal hair and makeup were the subject of the following questions, and finally, Callie asked her bridesmaids their budget and if they had any song requests.

"So smart"

The video, which has now amassed nearly two million views, proved popular among current brides and bridesmaids.

"As someone who is basically a part-time bridesmaid at this point, THANK YOU," one wrote.

"I love answering surveys about myself so I would happily do this," joked another.

Others called the idea "practical", "so smart" and "the best decision."
