Three photographers have out snapped contenders, taking home this year’s winning prize for The Advertiser’s SA Summer Photo Competition.
The competition sought out South Aussies who believed they had captured the perfect summer snap over the holidays.
Melissa Crisa, from Brooklyn Park, captured an incredible photo of a young boy soaking up water that was sprouting from a sprinkler, as the glistening sun shined through the backyard.
The photo titled ‘Sprinkler Showers’ was snapped on a Nikon Z6ii, catching the essence of simplistic fun summers.
Second place went to Steven Genesin, of Colonel Light Gardens, who captured an up-close underwater photo of a beautiful sea lion, titled ‘Sea Lion Frolic,’ using a Olympus EM1 Mk2.
While, Qiang Xu from Hawthorndene, was the third winner for his picturesque snap of a woman’s silhouette jumping high into the sunset, captured on an iPhone 14 Pro Max.
