Generation Z power couple Emma Chamberlain and Role Model have called it quits.

According to E News, the pair have officially parted ways and are no longer together after a three-year romance.

Chamberlain, 22, is a social media powerhouse with over 15 million followers on Instagram and over 12 million subscribers on YouTube.

She’s become the cultural touchstone for all things fashion, Gen Z and trendy, and the face of luxury brand Lancôme.

You know how plaid mini skirts have forced their way back into fashion? Well, you could have Chamberlain to thank for that.

She’s also one of those people that is incredibly famous among Gen Zers but if you said her name to a older Millenial or Boomer you’d be met with.

“Who?”

Role Model aka Tucker Pillsbury, 26, is an Indie musician that is very much in his cool boy era.

He posts photos of himself shirtless but still wearing a leather jacket on Instagram, doesn’t button up his shirts and has a shaggy hairstyle.

Pillsbury has yet to secure the kind of fame that Chamberlain has, but he has slowly been making a name for himself on the music scene.

Chamberlain has that mainstream appeal but Pillsbury owns the Indie scene, and therefore they were a beloved internet couple.

Despite their high profiles and the fact that it is basically Chamberlain’s job to share her life on the internet the two were never the kind of couple that posted consistently about each other online.

Sure, they’d occasionally attend events together, but they haven’t taken the Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz-Beckham approach to romance. Yes, sadly that means they don’t post matching ouftits.

Interestingly they still have been very public and even did a couple interview together for GQ Magazine.

Chamberlain toldGQMagazinethat parts of their relationship would be “sacred” but they weren’t going to keep the budding romance a secret.

“There are parts of our relationship that are going to be private forever, and those things we keep sacred. But I don’t think we need to be secret anymore. It’s just like, I’m over that s — t,” she said.

Meanwhile, Pillsbury explained that he’d always been “against” relationships and falling in love before he’d ended up with Chamberlain.

“I really was never picturing myself truly being in love,” he revealed.

He said that he’d previously never wanted to “care” for someone outside of his friends and families.

“I’ve never felt the desire to take care of someone and be there for them,” he shared.

Chamberlain and Pillsbury’s break-up is big news, well, if you’re hip enough to have heard of them.
