Qantas launches huge Queensland sale with fares from $99

From the everglades of Noosa to the shopping malls of Brisbane and the aviation museums of Longreach, there are all sorts of holidays up for grabs in this 72 hour Queensland sale. 

Whether you fancy surfing on the Gold Coast, an NRL game in Brisbane, or dirt biking in Toowoomba, Qantas' latest sale will get you the cheap flights to afford it.

The airline has launched a 72-hour Queensland flight sale, with more than 30 routes on offer for Aussies seeking some winter sun.

From cocktails in a Surfers Paradise pool to the Everglades of Noosa, there's all sorts of holiday potential in Queensland

The sale has been launched in partnership with Tourism & Events Queensland (TEQ) and is aiming to boost the Queensland tourism industry in the wake of Cyclone Alfred.

Flights from Sydney to the Gold Coast and Brisbane to the Whitsundays are under $100 (economy fares start at $99) and the sale covers 15 of Queensland’s most popular destinations, inviting travellers to see the iconic landmarks and secret spots of Australia's second largest state.

Only two everglades on Earth and did you know one of them is in Noosa?

The sale also includes regional towns like Longreach - the gateway to outback Queensland and home of the Qantas Founders Museum, where visitors can take a look into Qantas' history. As well as Gladstone, Mt Isa, Bundaberg and Toowoomba.

Sale fares are for travel (on select dates) between May 19 and December 10 2025. Fares will be available until 11.59pm (AEST) April 16, 2025 (or until sold out). 

There are also fares to the Whitsundays, for those seeking snorkelling

Qantas Domestic CEO Markus Svensson said Queensland is a very popular destination for the airline thanks to its stunning mix of adventure and leisure.

He also said Qantas was proud to be collaborating with Tourism Events Queensland to help support Queensland's tourism industry after the cyclone, driving tourists "everywhere from world-famous holiday spots to regional towns like Longreach, which hold a special place in Qantas’ history."

And if you want to keep things more urbane, Brisbane has heaps of shopping and a great food scene

Tourism and Events Queensland CEO Craig Davidson said it was great to see the variety of destinations in the sale, "from iconic coastal locations to vibrant cities and stunning country regions."
