TikTok's Nara Smith is pregnant again. The internet has thoughts

“Do ya’ll ever just cuddle?”

If you’ve heard the name Nara Smith, you’ve likely got an account with TikTok.

If she’s not yet graced your FYP, or if you simply don’t want to fall into the TikTok trap, let me give you a quick TLDW (too lazy, didn’t watch).

Nara Smith is Gen Z’s modern-day Martha Stewart, only way more into organic recipes and with significantly less time in prison.

Nara Smith's new DIY project

At just 23 years old, she has made a name for herself with more than 11 million followers who tune into her DIY cooking videos.

She’s crafted her own cola and bubblegum completely from scratch, but it’s her most recent project that’s raised eyebrows across the internet.

She’s officially cooking up a new bun in the oven and will soon have four under four.

With her husband, Lucky Blue, Nara took to TikTok to share the news of her pregnancy this week.

The update about the family expanding came as a shock to fans.

Last April, the couple told GQ they weren’t planning on having more children.

“Well, we have three. So, you’re done,” Lucky said to his wife.

Nara responded: “Yep, I’m done.”

The video of their announcement has now been viewed over 29 million times on TikTok.

However, when you open that comment section, you’re not greeted with the messages you’d likely expect.

There’s no flood of congratulations or well wishes. Instead, the court of TikTok has been quick to judge the couple’s decision.

“I thought you said you were done?” questioned one commenter.

Another poked fun at their DIY obsession, writing: “Let’s try condoms from scratch next?”

“Do ya’ll ever just cuddle?” a third person added.

“Every f**king year?!” a fourth wrote in shock.

“Don’t we say congratulations any more?”

Many of the accusations hit out at her for trying to mimic another content creator who leads a similar "trad wife" lifestyle to Nara.

It’s the trope of living on a farm as a stay-at-home mother who decided to settle down with her husband that makes some uncomfortable.

But perhaps questioning Nara’s adherence to 1950s inspired gender stereotypes and criticising her pregnancy are two differing ball games.

However, if you scroll through the comments, you’ll find that not everyone is critical.

“Why do people have such an issue with bigger families? It’s Nara and Lucky’s choice,” one person argued.

Another defended them, saying: “Don’t we say congratulations any more?”

A third added: “She’s married and can afford them and she can take care of them sooooo?”

The internet truly is a mystery. Why are people so pressed?

It’s Nara and Lucky’s life. People can want things that are different from us.

We can question their choices, but criticising her for a decision she made in regards to her body, her parenthood, and about growing her family seems odd to me.

We’re likely now going to get content about how to DIY a dummy from scratch, and I’m kinda here for that.

I’m also very much looking forward to more of Nara’s creative endeavours.

The couple welcomed their third child, Whimsey Lou, just over a year ago.

They also share daughter Rumble Honey and son Slim Easy.

Lucky shares a daughter with a previous partner named Gravity Blue.
