I look good, so pervy men stare at me and other mums judge

"I'm not going to be that mum who doesn't keep up," Amee says defiantly.

'I'm hotter than the younger mums'

A mum-of one, Amee Gleadell,  has shared that she's shamed by other mums for her appearance - and she puts it down to envy.

The 35-year-old told The Sun that looking good is a priority for her, so she takes care every day with her make up and outfits.

But Amee adds there are mums she interacts with socially who judge the effort she makes.

"Mums judge you at baby class"

Amee says that she like a natural look, so doesn't wear much make up. But she does look after herself in terms taking pride in her appearance.

"I'm a natural mum and I have a good figure," she says proudly.

"Mums judge you at baby classes. I get looked at - I think it is jealousy."

"I'm not going to be that mum"

Amee explains that after giving birth to Arthane, who's now 15-months-old, she decided she was not going to be "that mum."

She says, "I wanted to chase him round the park, a lot of mums sit with their coffee and cake."

And so working out at the gym became a priority to her, as did eating a healthy diet.

"It makes me feel better. It makes me feel happy with myself."

The mum adds that she won't wear "trackies" in public, and that she doesn't understand those who appear to be too lazy to care how they present themselves. But she also warns it's important to remember that we don't know what people are going through.

"I breastfeed my child at work"

Amee shares that she's been body-shamed at work for breastfeeding her son when he's hungry.

"Pervy men stare at you. Other mums judge you. Other people are like 'she is breastfeeding and cooking' and judging me for that.

"I'm in control, he's not going to burn. It's natural. I shouldn't have to cover up."

Ultimately, Amee says she "wants to live forever" and while she's here, be "an amazing mum and partner."
