"Being the victim of Shaken Baby Syndrome actually gave him the life sentence, not his father"

The weight of her message resonated with viewers around the world and people begged for more Dallen content.

She's since posted many follow-up videos showing more of his life and explaining more about his story.

Here, she explains that "Dallen was violently shaken by his father at the age of three months old. Dallen's life has been altered forever. He now lives with a significant brain injury and struggles with his cognitive and physical functions.

"The irony is, being the victim of Shaken Baby Syndrome actually gave him the life sentence, not his father."

In another, she writes: "Dallen may have not been dealt the best cards, but he lives his life to the fullest and cherishes every moment he can - he's the best uncle to my kids and is with us six/seven days a week."

"He was told he would never walk/talk but he can walk, he knows some words, he can sing Dixie Chicks songs from start to end, can dunk a ball from half court. He loves his people and has beaten all odds doctors put on him."

"How can anyone get that angry or frustrated?"

The comment sections of all her videos quickly became a space for people to express their thoughts and reactions to Dallen's story.

Throughout many of the responses was a shared feeling of disbelief. "As a father myself, I just can't imagine having the heart to do that," one man said.

Another exclaimed, "How?! So tiny and defenceless... HOW CAN ANYONE GET THAT ANGRY OR FRUSTRATED SEEING THEIR LITTLE FACES??!  I get frustrated too but I couldn't imagine."

"The worst part is how hard you have to shake, I used to freak about bouncing a baby but the force necessary is scary," commented a different woman.

Then someone else wrote, "This hits too close to home. People need to know how serious this is."
