We all expect a few extra giggles and maybe a sugar rush after sending our little ones off to a family playdate.

But what happens when your child returns with something more permanent than a toothy grin?

One mum, who goes by the name Newskii, took to TikTok when she found herself in an unforgettable parenting predicament, and she's shared her wild tale with her 8,000 followers.

"Hey Mum..."

It all started innocently enough when her daughter, Jayde, set off for some quality time with her dad's side of the family. Little did Newskii know that Jayde's day out would include a request that would make most parents do a double-take: "Mum, can I get a tattoo?"

Naturally, Newskii did what any responsible parent would do — she promptly nixed the idea. End of story, right? Wrong!

"Call the police!"

As it turns out, Jayde's day at her aunt’s house took an unexpected twist. What was meant to be a casual chat about tattoos resulted in a slapdash heart tattoo gracing Jayde's leg. Newskii's shock and disbelief quickly transformed into pure parental fury.

In a series of videos, Newskii vented her frustration with captions like: "Who in their right mind tattoos a seven-year-old? Beware of who you let your kids hang out with!" and "I just found out my baby daddy's sister tattooed my child! She's 28; Jayde is seven!"

Unsurprisingly, this insane tale captured the attention of many, and the comment section erupted. One concerned viewer advised, "Call child services and the police!" Another chimed in with, "Press charges!"

Some offered comfort, assuring Newskii that the ink would probably fade as Jayde grew older.

A case of she said vs she said

When Newskii asked her daughter, "Whose idea was it for you to get a tattoo?” Jayde informed her it was her aunt's, despite the youngster advising she didn't have her mother's permission.

Just when you thought the story couldn't get any worse, Newskii shared that she didn't even know her daughter would be in the care of anyone but Jayde's grandmother.

The grandmother allegedly claims that the tattoo isn't real, while Newskii maintains that it definitely is.

In another state with limited options, the mother mentions having contacted Child Protective Services, seeking medical advice, and reaching out to the police. She is also pregnant, which further complicates matters.

When the police were contacted, they explained that they couldn't locate her because she was unhoused, making it impossible to find her address.

According to Jayde's mother, Jayde's father is in jail and has not responded to the situation yet.
