Marcus is just like any other kid.

He loves playing in the park, spending time with friends and eating McDonald’s, particularly a Happy Meal

So when he asked his parents for one, his dad devised a better idea.

Dad secretly replaces son's Happy Meal with his own cooking

Dad replaced McDonald’s with homemade recipe

Taking to TikTok, his dad decided to secretly swap out the regular fries and nuggets for something homemade.

The video shows the dad taking fries and nuggets from an air fryer and putting them in the fast food boxes.

“Let’s see if he notices a difference,” he captioned the clip. Shutting the McDonald’s box up, he passes it to his son.

As the little boy chomps on the chips, his expression suddenly sours.

Something wasn’t right.

So he grabbed the bag and added extra salt. “There we go!” he said to himself.

Then it was time for the nuggets. Again, the kid knew something was up and slowly grabbed one from the box. “Y’all tweaking!” he tells the camera.

Finally, he grabs the kid’s toy, which had also been replaced with a set of fake teeth.

“What is this?” he asked, presenting the toy to the camera before placing them in his mouth. “What the f**k?”

“I don’t want this… what’s going on, McDonald’s?”

Marcus’ dad, ever the prankster, decided to trick his kid again. This time he chose nuggets and fries that looked closer to the original, securing the Happy Meal box and handing it to his son.

“I know last time, McDonald’s made you mad, so I got you another one,” he told his son.

Marcus cautiously took the chips out from the bag and slowly ate them, wary of another trick. He added more salt, just like the time before, and began to crunch into the snack.

“I don’t think he was too happy,” his dad captioned the second clip.

“Why is it so hard?” he asked before dropping the chips onto the kitchen counter - the fries making a very loud sound as they hit the surface. “You hear that?” he asked the camera.

By the time he got to his nuggets, the kid was clearly fed-up. “The nuggets are nasty!” he said, banging the chicken snack onto the counter.

“I don’t want this… what’s going on, McDonald’s?”

If that wasn’t enough, Marcus’ dad also replaced the toy in his Happy Meal with a pickled egg.

“What kind of toy is this?” the boy asked as he played with the egg in a plastic bag. He took a sniff inside the bag and said, “Damn, this stinks!” before throwing out the rest of the food.

“He’ll never want McDonald’s again!”

Fans of the family thoroughly enjoyed Marcus’ honest review of his dad’s prank.

“Don’t ever play with him like that again,” a person joked. “Lil bro was ready to talk to the manager about this one,” laughed another.

“He was confused the whole time,” another noticed. “Please tell me you gave him the real thing after!” someone asked.

“That toy was the very last straw,” someone laughed.

Others judged the dad’s cooking skills. “Those fries sound like rain on a roof,” read one comment. “You gotta take it easy with that air fryer,” said another.

Some said the fries falling on the counter “sounded like Legos.”

“My man knows his fast food!” a fan wrote. “He’ll never want McDonald’s again!”
