Yalancia Rosario and her husband, Michael, always dreamed of a large family. 

At 30 years old, Yalancia welcomed nine boys into her family. Now she and her husband don’t want to stop until they have a girl. 

Hailing from Texas, the mum only recently gave birth to her ninth son. Now she’s expecting again, but this time it’s twins.

American mum-of-nine announces she’s pregnant with twins

She explained on social media that she had a feeling she was expecting twins. And in a TikTok, the American mum was proven correct at her six-week pregnancy scan.

According to the clip, she began feeling “early twin pregnancy signs and symptoms”. 

These symptoms included “cramps”, “extreme fatigue”, “feeling sick very early”, and “mother’s intuition.” 

“A few of y’all manifested this!” she captioned the clip.

The American is mum to nine children, Jamel, Michael Jr, Angelo, Gimani,  Armani, Prince, and Sincere, all under 13 years old. 

Sadly she lost two children, Armani and Gimani, as stillborn and in the first trimester, respectively. In April 2022, she gave birth to her youngest son, Khaza. Now she is adding another two to her family tree. 

But with nine boys in tow, Yalancia and her husband, Michael, want a girl more than anything.

Mum-of-nine “doesn’t use contraceptives anymore”

The news has Yalancia over the moon, even though she has openly said she “hates being pregnant.”  

While Yalancia and husband Michael have their hands full with nine kids, she has no intentions of slowing down. 

In fact, if it was up to her husband, they would have 20 kids. 

“I’ve always wanted a big family because I grew up as the oldest of seven and wanted to have my own big family to create memories with,” Yalancia told The Sun. 

She confirmed that while some of her children were conceived while she was using contraceptives, the couple has stopped using them since. 

“I don't use contraceptives anymore. We live within our means and have a great budgeting system setup,” she said. 

“I love having a big family. I’m the oldest of seven and my dad comes from a family of five. I love watching the next generation grow and being able to raise awesome smart young men.”

“I don’t know how you do it, but more power to you!”

Fans of the family were overjoyed with the news. 

“Congratulations! What a beautiful family,” someone wrote. “Congratulations! I don’t know how you do it, but more power to you!” said another. 

“You are truly blessed,” a comment read. “Two for the price of one!” another laughed. 

Online, people defended the couple’s choice to have another baby. “You don’t owe anyone an explanation,” a supporter wrote. “I love the bond you have with all the kids,” another wrote. 

Others are crossing their fingers that Yalancia’s twins are girls. “There’d better be in girl in there!” a woman laughed. “I’m not playing!”

“Here’s some girl baby dust coming your way,” said another. “I hope you get that girl!” wrote a fan.
