MODEL Chrissy Teigen has been hit with a barrage of questions about her pregnancy after she shared a picture of her growing baby bump.
The 29-year-old and her husband, musician John Legend, announced the pregnancy last week.
On Sunday, Teigen posted a selfie of her belly on Instagram saying “Somebody is early to the party.”
That’s all it took for Twitter users to put their two cents in, adamant she must be having twins.
“I did IVF. One at a time. It isn’t twins. I can see the damn thing. Get out of my uterus!” Teigen tweeted.
Twitter still wasn’t convinced.
“@chrissyteigen One embryo can split into identical twins.
Either way the baby or babies will be incredibly gorgeous and lucky :-)” tweeted Shauna Stein.
`@ShaunaTheBaker it isn’t. Twins,” replied Teigen.
Erica Taylor tweeted “big possibility its twins if you were using IVF.”
Teigen replied “Please stop. I put one embryo in. I have ultrasounds every few days. I didn’t announce at a week.”
After two hours of defending the size of her baby bump, Teigen removed herself from the conversation.
“No more preg tweeting for me, lesson learned!! Back to food and reality TV and hay things,” she tweeted.
