Shocking video of an mother threatening her daughter's school bully went viral last week, and has seen an outpouring of support for the furious parent.
The unnamed Adelaide mum was filmed confronting the teenager in their classroom at St Paul's College, screaming, "You ever f***ing mess with my daughter again I’ll slit your f***ing throat."
Acknowledging her behaviour was not ideal, the mum later told 7News, "I don’t want my daughter to be another statistic. I don’t want to have to bury my child.
"She was devastated that this child told her to go and hang herself. That is a breaking point for any parent … I went into survival mode, and protective mode."
Worldwide response to the video demonstrated overwhelming support from parents who are also frustrated with the epidemic of bullying and resulting suicides in schools.
Soon after, a GoFundMe account was started to support the family - but it has yet to gain traction.

GoFundMe for Adelaide mum in viral school clip
The GoFundMe, which was started seven days ago by a family friend, and has been verified by the fundraising platform, has raised just $889 at the time of reporting.
It reads:
"As a majority of Australia are aware there has been a current Media Coverage on an Adelaide Mum and her outburst at a school regarding severe bullying of her 13 year old daughter.
"This has been an incredibly awful time for this beautiful family and it’s been incredibly hard to watch this Mum and her family suffer.
"I am raising money for this family as a family friend as both parents are now having to take leave from work to support there daughter and they are facing an incredible amount of Media Coverage and possible Legal Challenges.
"No amount is too small!"
The organiser, Darlene Jones from Adelaide, added the hashtag "#saynotobullying" at the end of the post.

"We begged for help"
The video resonated with anyone who's experienced bullying, or whose child has been suffering from it.
The mum explained, “I did everything in my power as a parent and so did my husband to make sure our daughter was safe, especially dropping her off at school.
“The school has been negligent on their behalf, they have not done, what they said (they’d) do. They have ignored all aspects about what we stated about the bullying with our daughter.”
“I have stated time and time again to the school that we are begging. We begged for help. We begged.”
Speaking of her classroom tirade, the mum has apologised.
“What everybody has seen of me is not who I am as a mother or as a person,” she said.
The matter is reportedly being investigated by both the school and SAPOL.

"What is the point of living?"
The mother, who is 20 weeks pregnant, has since revealed to Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O Henderson on their breakfast program that her daughter was being impacted so severely by the situation that she had stopped eating.
“Our daughter was bullied immensely, probably for over 12 months,” she explained, detailing how alarm bells rang when she looked through her daughter’s bag.
“She stopped eating, I would find mouldy sandwiches in her bag.
“She had come home and she fell into my arms on the floor and said ‘mum, I cannot do this anymore, what is the point of living?’”
