Adelaide’s mini Taylor Swift, or Willow as she is known at home, has been named SA’s cutest kindy kid. But she’s not the only youngster who deserves a shoutout.

The only thing that four-year-old Willow loves more than going to kindy is pop princess Taylor Swift.
And now, just like her idol has done many times before, Willow has claimed the top spot after being named South Australia’s cutest kindy kid.
“That’s so awesome,” said Willow’s mum, Ms Ramsbottom when The Advertiser rang with the exciting news.
“She is going to be over the moon and telling everyone she’s the cutest.”
According to Ms Ramsbottom she is a “spirited little Swifty” who brightens up every room.
“For book week at kindy, she decided to embody Taylor Swift, and I must admit, she’s the most adorable Taylor I have ever laid eyes on,” Ms Ramsbottom said.
With her cowboy hat and kid-sized guitar, Willow stole the show with her interpretation of superstar Swift during her country music days.
While Willow may be Taylors #1 fan, Ms Ramsbottom admits she is not and said the obsession comes entirely from Willow’s love of music.
“She’s very passionate and likes what she likes,” the Murray Bridge mum said.
“Her whole bedroom is covered in posters of Taylor Swift … and she tells everyone that she is the friendly neighbourhood version of Taylor.”
This “burst of sunshine” is already showing signs of following in her hero’s footsteps and is rarely not singing.
“Her favourite song is Shake it Off,” Ms Ramsbottom said.
MEET OUR OTHER ADORABLE ENTRANTS
It’s the things that come out of kindy kids’ mouths and their cheeky antics that make them so loveable.
The Advertiser has been overwhelmed with hilarious (and cute) stories of what these little South Aussies get up to so we thought it was only fair to share their terrific tales.
Four-year-old Maeve gave her Nanna and her mum quite the shock when she decided she could not wait for an appointment with a hairdresser to try out a new do.
“A few snip, snip, snips later and this kindy kid could not be prouder of her new do and the pile of blonde locks on the carpet of her bedroom floor,” mum, Bridget Gillard, said.
Despite trying to teach Maeve a lesson about why we don’t cut our own hair, Ms Gillard admitted her “serious” chat may have been diminished by the humour of the situation.
“I could not stop laughing at the hilarious new hair cut and how proud of herself she really was,” she said.
By all accounts, Maeve now rocks her new look and has provided her loving family with a great story a 21st birthday speech.
Seb from Aldinga is often caught red-handed trying to sneak toys in and out of his kindy.
“Before kindy I need to pat Seb’s pockets/ long pants down which I do down to his socks as he sneaks his toys into kindy,” mum, Alissa Collins said.
While he may be a professional toy smuggler, Ms Collins said she loved his “quirky ways” and his kind-hearted personality.
Huntfield Heights local Levi can jump so high that he can almost fly.
“Once he jumped from the play equipment at kindergarten straight into his teacher’s arms without warning and the teacher just managed to catch him,” mum, Caitlin Koolmatrie, said.
Ms Koolmatrie said that Levi’s superpower is his autism and his “outgoing” personality.
“He might not be able to make friends his age but he sure makes friends with spiders, bugs and especially snails catching them with his special ‘spidey senses’,” she said.
Could Claude ‘Eggbread’ Jones be SA’s cutest kindy kid?
Beulah Park preschooler Claudie Jones has plenty to look forward to at only four years old.
“The best thing about being four is that I’m nearly six,” Claudie said.
“When I’m six, I’ll get a job.”
Adoring mum Emily Jones who is also a parent to Lenny, 6 and Bonnie, 2, said it’s a special age.
“It’s a really beautiful time,” she said.
“They’re becoming more independent and finding themselves in terms of their little personalities.
“And the stuff that comes out of their mouths is a lot of fun.
“I try to write as much of it as I can down to remember later.”
Claudie is known for being the household comedian and insists on being referred to as ‘Eggbread’.
“I have no idea where it came from or what it means,” Ms Jones admitted.
“But in the morning she will say ‘remember mum, my name is Eggbread’.”
Claudie is already becoming a mini fashionista and is a fan of shopping trip with anything pink and “aesthetic” on her list.
“To be honest I think I spend more money on her clothes than mine,” Ms Jones said.
“We just love her so much.”
Lucky for mum, Claudie will be able to foot her own shopping bill in a few years time after she gets that job …
