New Firefighter calendar to celebrate 75th anniversary of Hahndorf CFS

Think you’ve seen it all when it comes to firefighter calendars? Well, you’re in for a surprise.

And there’s not a shirtless male firey in sight.

Designed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Hahndorf CFS, the calendar features 12 fun images photographer by Tricia Watkinson.

The Icons of Hahndorf 2025 Calendar photos showcase destinations in the popular tourist town.

They include Hahndorf Farm Barn, Ambleside Distillers and the main street, with dedicated CFS volunteer firefighters starring in each picture.

“The process of creating the calendar has actually been an amazing

bonding experience for the brigade,” Hahndorf CFS Captain Ros Smith said.

“We’ve seen attendance at training and call outs rise since we started the

photo shoots. And it’s been wonderful to see everyone reacting to each

other’s images.

“There’s a real pride in what we’ve created here.”
