ULTIMATE ADELAIDE HALLOWEEN GUIDE

When is Halloween?

Halloween falls on Sunday the 31st of October, but there are many events taking place over the whole weekend.

Halloween Safety

Professor Nicola Spurrier and SA police have given the all clear for Halloween to go ahead despite Covid, but have outlined some recommendations to keep the community safe.

Professor Nicola Spurrier recommends you don’t go trick or treating if unwell and that you try to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres from other people, regularly wash or sanitise your hands and only take and give out wrapped lollies and check in with QR codes.

SA Police advise that children should be accompanied by a trusted adult at all times, should never enter a stranger’s house, even if invited inside and take extra care to obey traffic rules.

They recommend letting your neighbours know if you are participating in Halloween. An unwritten rule is if your front light is on you are happy to hear from trick or treaters, so be ready.
