SHE rarely represents companies outside her famous family’s enterprises but Kim Kardashian has added a new job to her portfolio.
The 36-year-old is the new “muse” of famed make-up artist Pat McGrath.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star appears in a black and white, film noir-style campaign for the brand’s Dark Star 006 eye kit, with a soundtrack by her rapper husband, Kanye West.
Kardashian has been teasing the campaign — titled “In The Mirror” — on social media, posting a video declaring “something is coming” on Instagram.
British cosmetics powerhouse McGrath has previously worked with Rihanna and supermodels Gigi and Bella Hadid.
“REVEAL! See the INSTANTLY ICONIC World Premiere of #InTheMirror starring #McGrathMuse @KimKardashian in #DARKSTAR006 Versions: UltraSuede Brown and Dark Matter with music by @KanyeWest TOMORROW at 7PM, EXCLUSIVELY on E! News,” McGrath wrote on her account.
Of course, Kardashian has had her own make-up line, Kardashian Beauty, with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney, and had a Charlotte Tilbury lippy named after her.
Kardashian’s younger sisters are making a huge mark in the beauty world. Kylie Jenner, 19, has her own line to top-selling lip kits (expanded now to a full range of make-up including bronzers and eyeshadows).
And Kendall Jenner, 21, is the face of Estee Lauder — and her involvement with the brand has translated into a massive spike in sales and attracted a younger audience, a source told News Corp Australia.
Pat McGrath’s Dark Star 006 eye kit will be available from April 11. The full campaign featuring Kim Kardashian is due to be released tomorrow.
