The reality TV star, 39, who shares two children with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, legally changed her son's name to 'Tatum Thompson'.

Tatum's name has been changed over a year after he was born
According to People, the high-profile parents legally changed Tatum's last name this week.
The publication reports that on Thursday, a judge in Los Angeles approved the name change, over a year after Tatum was born.
The 13-month-old, who was welcomed via surrogate in July 2022, was previously named 'Baby Kardashian' on his birth certificate, as Khloe and Tristan were yet to decide on a name.
The law in California allows parents to give their child their paternal or maternal last name, or a combination of the two. The final decision will be permanent unless the court intervenes.

Why wasn't Tatum given Tristan's last name at birth?
It's safe to presume that Tristan and Khloe's relationship would have been on the rocks at the time their son was born, given what we know about Tristan's infidelity around that time.
It's been well-reported that the basketball player got another woman, Maralee Nichols, pregnant after he and Khloe had just decided to have another baby via surrogate.
So it seems pretty clear why Khloe decided to leave his name off the birth certificate - he was not in the good books.
But over a year later, it seems she's had a change of heart in regards to her decision.
We can only assume that things have gotten much better between the pair since then, so much so that she wants her son to take Tristan's last name.
The duo have been co-parenting their two children, True, five, and Tatum this whole time and might inevitably have gotten closer, given the number of milestones their youngest is likely going through.
We'll have to wait and see what happens. 👀
