Just when you think you’ve heard all of the worst plane etiquette stories, one woman has taken to TikTok to share a shocking incident that takes the cake.

The woman was on a flight recently when she felt something tickle her leg only to discover it was the cold, bare foot of the man behind her.

"They were cold"

Tivona, who goes by @teatinz, took to the platform to share the horrifying experience.

The 24-year-old filmed the exact moment she realised the thing that just grazed her leg was actually the foot of the passenger behind her.

“No way people actually do this, I’m flabbergasted,” she captioned the clip, that now has over 28 million views.

In the clip, she films herself sitting in the window seat with a disgusted look on her face and the text, “I felt something tickle my leg.”

She then flips the camera to show a bare foot protruding out from underneath her seat.

Over footage of the wiggling toes, Tivona wrote: “They were cold.”

She then said, “Do you know how far you have to reach your feet to TOUCH the person in front of you?!”

"New fear unlocked"

Commenters immediately shared their disgust, with one user even joking, “This is criminal.”

Other comments included, “Nah, you gotta stop the flight,” and, “Should be a $5000 fine.”

Then many users offered their suggestions like, “Hot tea or coffee would have sorted that out,” and “I would have kicked back so hard.”

Tivana then turned around to see who it was

In a follow-up clip titled, “Toe guy on a plane story time”, Tivona offered more details regarding the incident.

“The more I think about this situation, the more freaked out I get. Right after he touched me with his toys, I turned around just to see who was doing this, like it was a middle-aged guy and his wife and they were dead a** staring at me and SMILING,” she said.

“That kind of shook me, low key, ‘cause like what. 😅 And then I hear them giggling and they’re like ‘Hahahah, we’re so weird.’

If that’s not strange enough, Tivona explained that she was never meant to be in that seat but the woman who was originally sitting there “got up mid-flight and never came back. She went and sat somewhere else.”

Taking advantage of the free window seat, Tivona moved over but then the man immediately touched her with his foot.

“I'm thinking, HE PROBABLY TOUCHED HER TOO and it caused her to leave. Then I move in and they’re like ‘Ooh another person to play around with’ because they think this is a game or something,” she said.

She concluded by saying, “Luckily it lasted like less than a minute… his toes being in my space. And we were landing soon, we were already on the descent so I got out of the situation pretty quick.”
