Love to follow trends? Well, get set to paint the town red in Glassons’s take on the watercolour print.
Actually, make that paint the town green.
New Zealand brand Glassons has opened a new store in Rundle Mall, opposite the Myer Centre where Typo used to be.
And The Advertiser got the first look at the fit-out and stock, which includes a green watercolour print top and skirt set.
At $74.98 for the two ($24.99 for the top and $49.99 for the skirt), which is significantly less than the watercolour print dress Adelaide’s ‘it girls’ – including model and public relations consultant Amy Schapel and GAT Agency director Maree Hopgood – are wearing.
Scanlan Theodore’s latest incarnation of its cult Italian Watercolour Print Dress, which comes in two colourways, is $650 … and it is sold out.
Glassons nice price offerings also have an added benefit. While they can be worn together to create the watercolour dress look, they can also be teamed with other separates to create a range of outfits.
The Rundle Mall store also stocks suiting, denim and lounge and activewear.
A family-owned business that has been around for more than a century, Glassons also has a store at Westfield Marion that opened in 2021.
