How Emma Warner’s wellness journey changed her life to shed 20kg
After trying gym challenges and various diets, South Australian mum Emma Warner found the key to her weight loss success, thanks to a local nutritionist.

Emma Warner’s health and fitness journey was “a bit of a rollercoaster” until she decided she wanted to a better role model for her family – a decision that has led to her 20kg weight loss.
It was just after Easter last year when Ms Warner chose so make a change.
“I was lacking energy and confidence, and wanted to feel healthier within myself,” the regional South Australian woman said.
“What I was finding the most challenging was how I was going to make sustainable changes for my health and wellbeing and maintain these changes.”
The 44-year-old enlisted the help of Lucinda Porcelli from CindaFit that she found “the missing piece of the puzzle”.
The nutritionist, who has a following of 24,400 people on Instagram, was recommended to Ms Warner by a friend.
“Having weekly check-ins with Lucinda helped to keep me accountable and also provided me with the support I needed,” Ms Warner said.
“What appealed to me was the opportunity to engage one-on-one with a nutritionist, including an online course involving weekly online lessons in a variety of nutrition-based education and having access to a wide range of tools, resources, e-books, recipes, information as well as an app to guide me along the way.”
During her nine months living the CindaFit lifestyle, Ms Warner has lost 20kg and is feeling “energised, confident, healthier and happier”. Her tip is to not view weight loss as a singular thing, but consider the bigger picture of overall health and wellbeing.
