Cats in tights are the internet's latest obsession

IN YET another sign that the internet has way too much time on its hands, cats wearing human tights are a thing now. Here are some of the, err, cutest.

A cat owner with lots of spare time and a flair for attaching tights to her cat has created a Tumblr account and caused the internet to explode with copycat kitties.

Without further ado ... we give you cats in tights.

The cat that started it all. Her name is Gucci and her owner says she's laid-back.

Black and white - so hot right now. And it really suits her fur tone.

Expect to see blue tights with mismatched socks on the catwalk next season. Catwalk ... get it? Sorry.
