Former Adelaide Crow, Melbourne Demons AFL coach Simon Goodwin marries in stunning Bali wedding ceremony
A South Aussie business heavyweight took to social media to congratulate the couple after they tied the knot in front of about 100 guests.

Former Crow and Melbourne Demons coach Simon Goodwin has tied the knot with his love Kristine Brooks in a romantic destination wedding.
Goodwin and Brooks exchanged vows in front of more than 100 guests at Suku Beach Club in Nusa Ceningan, Bali.
South Aussie business heavyweight Darren Thomas of Thomas Foods was in attendance, taking to social media to share photos from the nuptials with the simple caption: “What a night”.
Goodwin’s current club also shared the happy news on social media, sharing a snap of the couple kissing under an arbour with the caption, “a good win to start the year”.
But it was the groom’s daring dress sense that stole the show.
While his new wife looked breathtaking in a crisp white dress with long tulle train, Goodwin wowed in a striped short-sleeve shirt.
Goodwin, 48, popped the question on Christmas Day in 2023, with Brooks taking to Instagram to show off her stunning engagement ring.
“The best present I could have wished for. I can’t wait to spend Christmas with you forever,” she wrote at the time.
Brooks (nee Wade) has more than 25 years’ experience in the Australian Financial Services Industry, and a few years ago joined Milford Asset Management as head of Australian business.
It’s Goodwin’s second trip down the aisle, following his split from first wife Maggie after 15 years of marriage in 2021.
The former couple share three children.
He was the third AFL coach to split with a long-term partner in the 12 months following the Covid-interrupted 2020 season, when players, coaching staff and many of their families were forced to live in hotel bubbles.
He debuted his relationship with Brooks at the wedding of Hotel Sorrento scion Myles Pitt and his influencer model wife Brooke (nee) Hogan in February 2022.
Since then, the pair have largely remained out of the public eye.
