A cult favourite chocolate has teamed up with an ice cream brand to bring a new version of the treat to fans.

Cadbury teamed up with Peters Ice Cream in order to bring three chocolate flavours in ice cream tubs form to supermarkets.

The ice cream has come in three flavours – Vanilla, Caramello and Caramilk.

The Caramilk ice cream features chunks of Caramilk chocolate with a Caramilk base.

Caramilk has become a cult chocolate since it was first introduced with fans of the chocolate eager to try each new item featuring it.

Meanwhile, the Caramello version features a caramel base with a gooey centre.

Sydney vlogger @samantha.khater took to TikTok to share her take on the ice cream, commenting on the flavouring.

Andrea Hamori, the head of marketing at Peters Ice Cream said: “We know how important ‘treat-time’ is and we wanted to release a product range for that ultimate indulgent treat to enjoy at home.

“We are thrilled to bring some of the biggest brands in chocolate to the ice cream freezer in a unique way through an all-new premium 460mL frozen dessert range.”

Social media users were thrilled with the confirmation that the ice cream had hit the shelves.

“OMG the ooze,” one social media user said.

Another said: “Better run and not walk to get your hands on this one as every man and his dog will be getting their hands on this and they will sell out quick.”

Another added: “OMG I tried it, it’s amazing.”

However, some had issues with the price tag attached to the ice cream cost.

“$12 for that,” one social media user asked.

Another added: ”If I am going to pay $12 I’d rather get Ben and Jerry’s.”

“You lost me at $12,” a third added.

The 460mL tub range is available in supermarkets and petrol stations nationwide now with a price tag ranging from $12 to $12.50.
