The spice grinders vary in size and include Sweet and Smoky BBQ, Atlantic Sea Salt, Extra Bold Peppercorn, Chilli and Garlic, Himalayan Pink Salt, and Salt and Pepper.

According to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), the recall is due to the possibility of the products containing plastic.

“Food products containing plastic may cause injury if consumed,” the FSANZ statement read.

“Consumers should not eat this product.”

Consumers have been urged to return the products to the place of purchase, where they can receive a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the statement read.
