Class A Jewellers is taking “try before you buy” to the next level, following a close to $2 million makeover of its Walkerville site.
Launched with a VIP dinner on Tuesday December 3, the revamped state-of-the-art showroom has tripled in size.
But the highlight is the “Class A Ring Pods” which give customers the ultimate hands-on experience.
“Customers can pick up and try on engagement rings and wedding bands at their own pace,” Class A Jewellers owner and managing director Brad Mucklow said.
“The pods feature our most popular rings in a range of metal colours for both men and
women, and we invite clients to enjoy a relaxed, self-guided experience, we are proud to say
there is really nothing like these pods anywhere else in Australia.”
The business is a favourite of Port Adelaide Football Club Captain Connor Rozee.
When he proposed to his now wife Maisie Packer, Rozee worked with Class A to design her engagement ring.
It led to a collaboration; in July, Rozee and the jeweller launched a new men’s collection featuring five rings and two cufflinks.
Rozee and Packer’s weddings rings, when they tied the knot in October, were also from Class A.
The remodelled showroom also boasts a functioning bar, “where shoppers can enjoy a drink as they peruse the store”.
