Fans believe they have proof that Bluey will never have another sibling

Two scenes have given die-hard viewers the biggest hints that there will never be a new addition to the Heeler family.

Bluey World is coming to Brisbane

Die-hard Bluey fans have started the year on a sad note after a viewer pointed out two episodes that prove Bluey's parents Bandit and Chilli are done having kids.

A fan recently took to the Adult Bluey Fans Club on Facebook to share their theory.

"I've been seeing a lot of 'Bluey should have a little brother' posts lately all over Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. This is not possible with Bandit," the fan shared before clarifying why.

"The original season 3 episode 1 was 'Perfect' where in a flashback Bandit is talking about getting neutered but doesn't know cause Chilli wants to keep her options open," the fan said.

"The original season 3 episode 2 was 'Bedroom' where Chilli is crying that they are getting rid of the room and all the baby toys."

Did Bandit really have a vasectomy?

While the ABC or creators from Ludo Studio never comment on fan theories, the two episodes all but serve as confirmation that Bandit went ahead with a vasectomy and therefore the family is done with having any more pups.

"This means that Bandit went through with the operation," the fan insists.

"Love how a show targeted at preschoolers can give us this information without getting too adult, but I think it is because of these subtle hints that people don't realise there will be no more siblings for Bluey."

The post has attracted over 570 comments from fans who have their own thoughts about the theory.

"'Look, I'm keen to get it done, but, Chilli, she wants to keep her options open. But I don't know. Do we want any more of these things running around?' Then the next episode they remove the room with the crib," one fan reiterated.

"I was just talking to my sister about the new episodes and hoping that they would eventually have another sibling and hopefully it’d be a boy," another fan added.

"I never thought they’d have more because it seems to be implied that Chili has miscarried before, so I just assumed they couldn’t have more or didn’t want to risk another loss," said another.

The episode is censored for the American audience

Meanwhile, others were still holding out hope that another little Heeler could join the family one day.

"Maybe not biologically, but they could always adopt another puppy," someone chimed in.

"Doesn't mean he went through with it at all.. just means they were packing it all away because it's not on the cards atm," another agreed.

But some fans were left a little confused - insisting that they have never seen an episode where Bandit is discussing getting "the snip" - and that's because the episode has been censored in the USA.

"The episode 'Perfect' I have Bandit is talking about getting his dog teeth removed not getting neutered," one American viewer wrote.

"Bandit did say 'dog teeth' and Fido said he got his home in a bag. I don't think they'd do that with a vasectomy," another agreed.

Aussie fans, who have been enjoying the original, uncensored version, were quick to clarify things with their pals abroad.

"If you're in America that’s the censored version," one pointed out.

It’s just a kid's show!

As with any Bluey fan theory, the post was also met with comments from viewers who wanted to remind others that they were reading way too much into a cartoon about dogs.

"Y’all are reading way too deep into a child’s show," one person laughed.

"I think people need to realise it’s a kid's show and not put this much thought into it," another agreed.

But one fan defended the theory hunters claiming: "Yes it is a kid's show but putting thought into shows and movies regardless of the target audience is how some people enjoy things."

Amen to that!
