Details of Kayla’s secret wedding venue revealed — and it’s not where you would think

A millionaire many times over, workout queen Kayla Itsines had plenty of luxury touches including two dresses at her wedding – but it was the choice of venue that surprised some.

Proving they are simply a couple in love, high-flyers Kayla Itsines and Jae Woodroffe threw a backyard wedding.

The pair married at home on Sunday, partying into the night with their nearest and dearest family and friends.

That said, it was a lavish affair, in no small part thanks to stunning floral arrangements, which just have to be the work of Adelaide Flower House on Unley Rd.

While we hear fitness queen Kayla, 32, didn’t have any bridesmaids, she had the cutest flower girl in Arna, her four-year-old daughter with her former fiance, Sweat co-founder Tobi Pearce.

Kayla, who shares a baby boy Jax with Jae, credited hairdresser Massimo Tirimacco, from ZoHair Salon at Norwood, for her up-do. Sydney-based Leah Baines did her make-up.

Kayla tagged both of them on Instagram, where she has more than 16m followers.

Just as she could have her pick of extravagant venues, thanks to her fortune Kayla could call on any designer she fancied to custom make her dream wedding dress.

The bride chose not one but two wedding dresses for her big day – an understated, custom-made sexy gown by Melbourne designer Mariana Hardwick, and later changed into a beaded crop top and skirt designed to show off her midriff, which featured a thigh-high split.

The Advertiser also understands Kayla and Jae didn’t use a wedding planner or event stylist for their big day.

But we do know that the fitness guru is basking in the afterglow of her “most perfect” day ever.

Other Insta posts show Kayla posing with members of her girl squad and sharing a kiss with her new hubby, while the pair balance on the shoulders of friends.

Kayla also shared videos showing her and Jae’s “first dance” and them partying with family and guests.

Her sister, foodie Leah Itsines, also took to Instagram, addressing her more than 500,000 followers.

Talking to the camera, Leah said she wouldn’t post images of her sister because the workout queen would “do that first”.

But she did re-post the official wedding photo – of the newlyweds sharing a kiss on a raised platform surrounded by flowers – and pics of herself in a pink gown tagged Plus One Dress Hire, suggesting she rented the fab frock.

Saying she “freaking loved” the wedding, Leah revealed she danced the night away.

“I WAS JUST DANCING JUST DANCING, JUST DANCING MY $@#% UP,” she said, and shouted in her caption.

Leah also posted pics to Instagram, captioning the pics and video: “Had the best weekend watching my sis get married. SO MANY TEARS!”

Leah also thanked Plus One again and leading Adelaide stylist Cimon Vozzo.

Among those to heap praise on Leah’s look was Kayla, who exclaimed, “I LOVE THIS OUTFIIITTTTTTT”.
