Club Lago opens up at Morphettville Racecourse just in time for Spring Race Carnival

Racegoers will be soaking up Euro summer vibes at Morphettville Racecourse’s new festive hangout.

Morphettville Racecourse will kick off this year’s Spring Racing Carnival in style thanks to the introduction of their new luxe activation, Club Lago.

Inspired by the glamour of Lake Como, this trackside hub is set to be the ultimate social destination for the upcoming racing season.

The venue - which is decorated with pops of orange, pink and yellow - will transport South Australians to their own European summer with a “festival-like” atmosphere and party vibes adding to their race day experience.

The space is the perfect spot to soak up the sunshine and all the action with a refreshing spritz in hand.

Music is guaranteed to be pumping all afternoon long with Adelaide saxophonist, Matt Sammut – who you may recognise from Adelaide Crows matches – delighting attendees with guest appearances.

“Club Lago is about creating a space that feels fresh, stylish, and fun,” Morphettville CEO Grant Mayer said.

“We wanted to bring guests of Morphettville a completely new and exciting experience, and we think we’ve done that.”

All general admission pass holders can gain access to Club Lago on any race day, excluding Adelaide Cup Day and Melbourne Cup Day when the boutique hangout will be ticketed.

Those looking to elevate their experience can secure a Club Lago VIP Lounge for $500, which seats up to nine people or a Club Lago VIP Cabana priced at $300 and is suitable for up to six guests.

Prices are redeemable on gourmet food and premium beverages throughout the day.

Club Lago will open on Saturday, October 18 for the Caulfield Cup and will stay active every Saturday until April 11, 2026.
