Grown-up fans have been scouring every scene of every episode as part of an 'eye-spy' game designed by the creators of the hit TV show.

But what are they looking for, you ask?

Sausage dogs, also known as 'long dogs' in the US.

Yep, in EVERY episode there are hidden Dachshunds.

Sometimes they're in plain sight, other times they're in hard-to-spot places and they even appear in disguise sometimes to make it even harder!

The phenomenon has been around since episode one, but it seems that adult Bluey fans are just cottoning on.

The Adult Bluey Fans Facebook page is rife with people sharing their Sausage dog finds, often ecstatic when they find one "on their own", without looking at online lists that document them all.)

One keen fan spotted a tiny Daschund on top of a cupboard and behind a vase in a scene where the characters are cooking from the Aussie Women's Weekly Children's Birthday Cake Book.

"Found my first long dog!!! One of my favourite episodes too," the mum wrote in her post, as many were left stumped as to where it was in her photo.

"Y'all are super sleuths!! We were watching some episodes the other day and I tried to look but got lost in the episode," someone responded.

Another wrote: "I don't see it! I'm so bad at this!"

Others have also gotten their kids involved in the Sausage dog spotting game.

"I never knew that the long dog Easter egg was a thing until I joined this group. Now every time my daughter has Bluey on (all the time) I try to look for them. I finally found one in S3 E29 Stories!" one parent shared.

"My kids are LOVING this game," said someone else.
