Continuing to confuse the rest of the world

In even bigger news, the show has teamed up with Disney to globally roll out the new season, which means the whole world will be able to watch at the same time.

This means we'll have even more opportunities to help our overseas neighbours who are left scratching their heads when it comes to Aussie slang.

From educating them on Bin Chicken being the correct name of the Ibis bird, why we wear paper crowns at Christmas and what a wheelie bin is.

The inspiration behind Bluey

Joe Brumm brought Bluey to life, drawing inspiration from his own experiences as a dad and the adventures of his two daughters. Bluey, the lovable Blue Heeler, embodies the playful and curious spirit of a young child, making it a hit with viewers of all ages.

Brumm's goal was to create a show that highlights the ups and downs of family life. With Bluey, he captures the magic and innocence of childhood in a way that resonates with audiences. Through the charming character of Bluey, Brumm successfully brings the wonder and excitement of everyday life to the small screen.
