Adelaide’s A-list: The sports identities at the top of every guest list in town

What does it take to make Adelaide’s sport A-list? More importantly, who’s on it? We’re going through the town’s top-end guest lists – today it’s sports.

What does it take to make Adelaide’s A-list? And who are the people bypassing the velvet rope to secure express entry to the city’s best events?

Much depends on the event in question, of course, but generally it’s a carefully crafted mix of power, prestige and celebrity, with some social media stars thrown in for good measure.

After consulting some of Adelaide’s leading PR and communications agencies, we’ve narrowed down our selection to six categories: politics and business, sport, fashion, social media influencers and bloggers, radio and TV, and a group of popular names who fit in more than one, or perhaps none, of the previous categories.

Today, we take a closer look at the top ten names in SA’s sports industry and rank them according to the priority they’d be given by an event organiser.
