Adelaide CBD Tiffany & Co store could be on the move to Burnside Village
A world famous jewellery brand is rumoured to be moving its Adelaide store away from the CBD and into the suburbs.

World famous jeweller Tiffany & Co could be moving out of the city and into a blue chip suburb.
There’s growing speculation that the iconic international brand – famous for its sparkling engagement rings – will be shifting its Adelaide store on North Terrace to Burnside Village.
The global chain is one of several retailers that have been linked with the centre as part of a major expansion that’s nearing completion.
The multi million-dollar redevelopment will double its footprint to almost 39,000sq m and also include 80 new stores with three levels of additional retail space, a new premium mall, a new dining area, 560 undercover car parks and a 24-hour gym.
In December, luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton opened up a pop-up store in the up-market shopping centre, and last month, Japanese fashion giant Uniqlo announced it will open an outlet there later this year.
Spanish retail giant Zara reopened its store at Burnside in October following a multimillion-dollar refurbishment and after signing a new 20-year lease.
Tiffany’s North Terrace store opened with much fanfare in November 2014, employing 25 staff across three rooms including a fine jewellery, private engagement and fashion jewellery salon.
The brand was made famous in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Audrey Hepburn and its jewellery has been worn by models, musicians and movie stars the world over.
The pilgrimage to its flagship store on Fifth Avenue has become a rite of passage for devotees of Tiffany’s range of jewellery, fragrances, accessories, stationery and leather goods.
A spokesperson for Burnside Village and Tiffany & Co both declined to comment.
