A Torrens Park resident has become a cool $1.7m richer overnight, with the search now on for the mystery SA winner.
One of three winning division-one entries in Saturday’s X Lotto draw 4361 was purchased from Mitcham Square Newsagency in Torrens Park but has not yet been claimed, prompting a call-out for the lucky ticket holder to come forward.
Anyone who purchased a ticket from Mitcham Square Newsagency on Saturday, May 6, has been urged to check their ticket.
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4361 on 6 May 2023 were 17, 35, 30, 13, 2 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 34 and 5.
Mitcham Square Newsagency owner Ben Poland said he was thrilled to have a local customer take home the $1,746,897 prize – with the newsagent’s last winning entry sold more than a decade ago.
“All of our staff are really excited, but also a bit nervous. The idea that we sold a customer a ticket that could change someone’s life is just amazing,” he said.
“Our customers will be over the moon to hear that someone in the community has won big … we hope our mystery winner comes in to check their division-one ticket – we’d hate to think that it’s just sitting on the fridge or in the bottom of a handbag,”
Punters can head to The Lott website, app or local newsagent or outlet to check if their ticket is the big winner.
