Kissing her full on the lips on the red carpet for the benefit of the world’s media? Umm, maybe not so much.

Rapper and actor Wiz Khalifa walked the red carpet with his mother, Peachie Wimbush, for today’s 2016 Golden Globe Awards, where he’s nominated for Best Original Song for his Furious 7 soundtrack song, See You Again.

Social media users were quick to react to the smooch — and while some declared it a sweet moment of family affection, many others were a little creeped out by the lipsmacking, with some saying it reminded them of Angelina Jolie’s infamous awards show pash with her brother back at the 2000 Academy Awards:
