The truth about MAFS ‘villains’ Olivia and Jackson exposed

They were the only couple strong enough to make it through MAFS together, but a look at the social media pages of the show’s “villains” reveals all may not be as it seems.

“From first sight to my last breath, I’ll be loving him,” read a gushing Instagram post from Married At First Sight bride Olivia on Wednesday.

“I love beer, beery beer beer down in my tummy,” hubby Jackson declared on his Instagram page, in a rather stark contrast.

Perusing the duo’s social media pages, Olivia, 28, and Jackson, 30, appear to be miles apart in their level of affection for each other. That’s despite the fact they were the only couple strong enough to stay together through the show and beyond, having since moved in together.

While they did end up attracting some hate from viewers during their time on our screens, with some referring to them as “villains” amid the bitter nude photo dispute with Domenica, they seemed blissfully happy together throughout most of the filming.

And when it comes to social media, almost all of Olivia’s recent Instagram posts feature her husband, alongside doting captions. However, while Jackson does include Olivia in his posts sometimes along with such comments as “you are un-beer-leavible”, he also has scores of posts about his true “love” … for the boys and beer, of course, not for his wife.

While she refers to him as “the love of my life” and her “lifeline”, his most recent post simply refers to her as his “girlfriend” and perhaps the most affectionate recent caption of his bride read: “how lucky am I”.

Jackson has never hidden the fact that he isn’t as into Olivia as she is to him. He even admitted on the show that despite living together, he hasn’t said the “l” word to Olivia yet.

In their final vows, Olivia declared her love to Jackson and he responded by telling her he doesn’t love her yet, but he hopes to soon.

“I want to make you feel special every day, just like you deserve,” he said.

“Although I am not at the ‘I love you’ stage yet, I want you to know I am definitely on my way there.”

However, their social media posts appear to show an even wider gap in feelings then many could have imagined. Here are some examples of this.

So, will the couple make it? Will we soon read news of the pitter patter of tiny feet, as Olivia hopes? Only time, and a few beers, will tell.
