STUDIO 10’s Sarah Harris surprised her co-hosts and viewers watching at home this morning, revealing the sex of her unborn baby live on air.

SARAH Harris made a surprise announcement on air this morning, revealing the sex of her unborn baby.

The Studio 10 co-host excitedly announced that she and her husband Tom Ward are awaiting the arrival of a bouncing baby boy.

“As long as it’s healthy I don’t care, but it is ... a boy!” the 33-year-old exclaimed just before the program wrapped.

The panel spent the morning predicting the baby’s sex and all were convinced it was a boy.

“Truth be told, I’ve been eating whatever isn’t nailed down. But I’ve definitely had cravings for savoury,” Harris told her colleagues. “I just got queasy all the time and had to eat things all the time.”

The popular TV personality shared her pregnancy news with viewers live on the show back in July, announcing that she was 15 weeks along. “I’ve been trying to hide it very unsuccessfully because the audience keep picking up on it,” she said, adding that the bub is due on Christmas Day.

“For the first 12 weeks I was really, really cranky, really hormonal, and a bit icky but I feel better now.”

Referring to her husband’s red hair, Harris added: “I’m dying for it to be a ginger. I’d love a little ginger baby.”

The couple tied the knot after five years together in an intimate ceremony in Sydney in July, 2014 before celebrating their honeymoon in Spain.
