Sophie Monk’s on-air sex confession

The Love Island host dropped a bit of a bombshell during a live radio interview this morning, leaving the hosts gobsmacked.

Sophie Monk’s on-air sex confession

She’s known as one of Australia’s hottest stars, but according to Sophie Monk, she’s bad in bed.

The Love Island and Beauty And The Geek presenter made the candid confession during a live chat with Hit Network’s Hughesy, Ed and Erin this morning, leaving the radio hosts in stitches.

Talk had turned to jealousy and relationships, at which point Monk, 42, revealed she’d never gone back to a partner who’d slept with another woman after meeting her.

“What if she’s hotter, or better in bed?” Monk explained, before adding: “I’m not great in bed anyway.”

A gobsmacked Erin Molan then asked: “Do you genuinely think that? Have you been told that?”

“I figured it out,” the TV host replied, laughing.

“Because a lot of people say, ‘Oh my God, I burnt so many calories last night’ … I feel like I put on weight during sex! I just lie there and just get flipped around like a bit of a doll and enjoy it like a massage.”

Monk’s confession stunned the radio hosts.

Monk – who tied the knot with Joshua Gross in a secret ceremony in March – then made fun of her lack of creativity in the bedroom, referencing an experience with a past lover.

“A guy said to me once, ‘Do you want to change it up a bit?’ And I said, ‘Do you wanna go to the spare room? How can we change this up?”

Monk also revealed this week that she and her new husband are “definitely trying” to fall pregnant.

She told Who magazine that while she would love to start a family, she’s also accepted the possibility that it may not happen.

“We are working towards that and if it happens it would be incredible, but if it doesn’t then that’s just not meant to be,” Monk said.

“That’s the only way you can look at it. I’m a big believer that everything happens for a reason.”

In April, Monk and Gross surprised fans by announcing their elopement, which had taken place weeks earlier in their NSW Central Coast home.

In an exclusive interview with Stellar, Monk — who delighted fans with her engagement news in January last year — said the decision to keep things intimate was a no-brainer.

“We always thought we’d elope.

“So many people said to me, ‘I didn’t even see my husband on the night; if I had my wedding over, we’d just elope’. So we thought, well, why don’t we just get married at home? I’ve seen people get really stressed about their wedding and ours has been so stress-free.”
