Mickey Rourke has been sensationally chucked out of the UK Celebrity Big Brother house after breaking show rules yet again.

The Sun reports the Hollywood actor was the highest paid housemate of the series, but was told to pack his bags on the sixth day after “unacceptable behaviour”.

It follows the 72-year-old’s formal warning over a homophobic slur during an earlier episode.

A spokesman for Celebrity Big Brother said on Saturday night: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.”

It’s believed Mickey displayed “threatening and aggressive” behaviour towards his housemate Chris Hughes during a disagreement in a task.

No physical altercation is said to have taken place.

Mickey survived the first eviction of the series on Friday night, which saw politician Michael Fabricant leave to a cheering crowd.

Fans are now demanding they see the whole Mickey drama play out when the series returns on Sunday night.

A show insider told The Sun: “Mickey was never going to last the distance, but no one expected him to leave quite so soon and certainly not under these circumstances.

“He clearly decided it wasn’t for him. Everyone’s been left shocked.”

Mickey’s time on the show was marred by awkward moments and he was slammed by his fellow housemates before his exit.

On day three he was seen asking fellow American celebrity JoJo Siwa: “Where’s the smoke room? Where’s the cigarette room?”

Mickey then asked JoJo: “Do you like girls or boys?” prompting her to calmly explain: “Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary.”

He told JoJo: “If I stay longer than four days, you won’t be gay anymore.”

The tension mounted when Mickey muttered: “I need a fag,” then gestured at JoJo saying “I’m not talking to you.”

JoJo was then seen crying as Love Island star Chris comforted her in the bedroom.

Mickey was also overheard saying in the garden that he’d “vote the lesbian out real quick” a remark JoJo branded “homophobic”.

The US star was hauled into the Diary Room before his exit.

Big Brother issued him a formal warning for “offensive and unacceptable” language.

Mickey apologised and said he was “just talking smack” and “didn’t mean it with bad intentions”.

Later, Mickey said he “got chewed out” in the Diary Room and admitted to the group: “I didn’t say it out of meanness.”

Housemates tried to help him understand the impact of his words, with Drag Race star Danny Beard offering support while encouraging Mickey to see things “from another point of view”.

But the atmosphere didn’t improve enough for Mickey to settle.

On Friday night’s show soap star Patsy Palmer broke down in tears in the diary room after Mickey complained about her cooking again.

He said to Patsy: “What do you know, you can’t cook.”

“I can’t cook?” asked a stunned Patsy.

“No, not even a little bit,” doubled down Mickey.

Snapping back, Patsy replied: “I hope that was a sarcastic joke.”

Despite telling co-stars “I’m fine, I’m a big girl”, she was in floods of tears over the clash.

Show shocks continue

It comes after AJ Odudu broke her silence on Mickey being “handsy” with her on the launch night.

Mickey was accused of leering at AJ after pulling her close to him on the live launch show.

AJ went on to thank fans for their support in the wake of the incident.

She posted: “Thanks for all your lovely messages. This series is going to be fire.”

Before Mickey’s exit, he had been given a major twist power by Big Brother, the Guardian Angel, meaning he could protect one housemate from Friday night’s eviction.

Meanwhile, JoJo Siwa was granted the Killer Nomination giving her the power to put one housemate straight up for eviction.

Another emotional exchange saw Mickey and JoJo discuss drag culture, where JoJo tried to educate him about respectful language.

She said: “Anything is ok to say in context and intention … and if you say something wrong but you didn’t know and you’re open to hearing, all good!”
